Tips & Advice

1. Preparing the Surfaces

Before you use: REMOVE RESIDUE: Remove any loose paint or powdery residue by brushing/scraping with a stiff fiber brush under running water or a high pressure water jet. TREAT AFFECTED AREAS: Use Dulux Fungicidal Wash (A980-19260) to treat areas affected by mould, lichen, algae or moss. ENSURE DRY WALL: Make sure that your wall is dry before painting. Do not paint if the wall is saturated with dampness (Protimeter reading higher than 16%). Allow excess moisture to evaporate. CLEAN SURFACE: Make sure that the surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from any defects, dirt, grease or wax.
2. Cleaning

Clean all equipment with clean water immediately after used.
3. Storing

Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from combustible material. Keep away from food, drinks and animal feed. Observe the label precautions. Store in a cool, dry, well ventilated place away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight. No smoking. Prevent unauthorised access. Containers which are opened should be properly resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Do not use or store any paint container by hanging on a hook.
